Team South Africa is in confident-mode, just 24 hours ahead of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. The team was officially welcomed to London by High Commissioner, Zola Skweyiya at South Africa House today. There may be complaints that the Olympics have kept other visitors away from London, but as the countdown nears, tourism hotspots like Trafalgar Square, are buzzing. Inside South Africa House, athletes mingled with media and dignitaries at an official welcome program. Many members of Team South were unable to attend, with training schedules on strict timetables but they are loving the atmosphere. It is hot and humid in London, even for the South Africans but they are looking forward to get into the action now.
