The state is expected to call witness number 24 when the trial against the three Radzuma siblings, accused of a series of crimes, continues at the Thohoyandou High Court in Limpopo today.

Percy and Simon Radzuma are being tried for the killing of two South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) leaders, Timson Musetsho and Ronald Mani.

The third sibling, Ndivhuwo, is being tried for allegedly killing a person of interest in the Samwu killings.

Musetsho and Mani were against the Vhembe district municipality investing R300 million in the now-defunct VBS Mutual Bank.

Yesterday, three more state witnesses testified -two investigating officers and a relative of deceased suspect, Zwothe Nemulodi.

Nemulodi was killed allegedly by Ndivhuwo. Nemulodi was also the suspect in the killing of Musetsho and Mani but he was killed before he could be arrested.

Twenty-three of the 150 state witnesses have already testified since the trial started last week.

The trial has been set to continue until Friday.

Meanwhile, South African Communist Party General Secretary Solly Mapaila is hopeful that the trial will reveal the person who ordered the hit.

Mapaila elaborates in the video below:
