Police in the North West are calling on Mahikeng residents to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of people who have stolen personal belongings and equipment belonging to an SABC News crew outside the Garona Building and Megacity Shopping Complex.
The stolen items include an HP laptop and a bank card.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone says, “Police in Mmabatho are investigating a case of theft out of a motor vehicle after SABC equipment were stolen from a car.
Investigations are currently under way and we would like to urge members of the community who may have information that assists in the investigation and or arrest of the suspects to call the Mmabatho police station on 0183877545.”
