Some initiation schools in Limpopo will wind up their operations this weekend.
The initiation season started in mid-June with more than 600 initiation schools.
Some of these schools will close their operations next weekend. Erick Nethonnzhe, a traditional surgeon, says the homecoming ceremony for his initiates are already under way.
“We have 410 initiates, two of them are people with disabilities. We are very excited that people with disabilities can also attend initiation school. We need to promote equality in our operation and in our initiation school. We will close on Saturday July 6 to avoid overcrowding.”
