The triple-murder court case against five accused Mmapula, Lesego and Goitseone Seletedi, Lerato Molefe and Johnson Motsamai is expected to resume at the Molopo Magistrate’s Court in Mahikeng today.
The three victims, 28-year-old Yvonne Setshego, her one-year-old son Keamogetse and a 45-year-old witness, Dokky Motsamai, were killed in 2019, and their bodies were allegedly dumped in pit toilets.
Four of the accused were arrested last month while the fifth was arrested last week.
During their last court appearance last week Thursday, the lawyers for the accused stated that they all intend to plead not guilty.
They further stated that they are not flight risks and would not threaten members of the community.
