Erasmus says despite months of inactivity, Bafana should be up for the challenge.
“It’s been exciting seeing that we had a challenge with the virus and stuff … most [of] the guys are at camp so its been good for everybody again and looking forward to the game that’s coming. I hope I can continue doing that for the national team as well and contribute positively.”
“I’m excited to be part of the national team again after [such] a long time … hopefully we can display a good performance and good results,” adds Erasmus.
Bafana defender Thulani Hlatshwayo says the national team is approaching the two friendlies in Rustenburg with victories in mind.
Bafana last played a competitive match when they beat Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last year.
The former Bidvest Wits defender who has joined Orlando Pirates says they will attack from the first whistle.
“Obviously it is results that we are looking forward to and we faced both teams before. We know what kind of national teams they are and it’s important for us to get positive results,” adds Hlatshwayo.
