The Electoral Commission (IEC) says 31% of voting districts declared results by 13:00. At this stage, the ANC has secured 46.65% of the vote, with 8 councils and 445 seats. The DA has 24.01% of the vote, 3 councils, and 174 seats. The EFF sits at 9.21% of the vote and 13 seats and the VF Plus is at 3.57% with 10 seats.
