The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party will be having elections victory celebrations in the streets of KwaXimba in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.

The MK party won many votes in KwaXimba ward and says it will be extending their gratitude to members of the community, with a motorcade and victory parade.

MK Party Head of programmes, Musa Mkhize says the celebrations are a token of appreciation to people who voted for change.

“KwaZulu-Natal voters, congratulations. We have to congratulate the way people have voted. We have gone back to the original, to president Jacob Zuma. The purpose of this motorcade, it was arranged by the voters of this ward. We are only supporting them because they felt that they have done exceptionally well coming from the ward that used to be originally ANCs which is now 100% MKs. So they felt that today they needed to celebrate what they have done. It’s an achievement for the country, for them to be able to stand and say no to being bought with EPWPS to be promised lies and jobs that never existed for 30 years.”
