Suspended ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule has arrived in the Bloemfontein High Court for day two of his appearance, along with 12 others, facing charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering regarding the failed Asbestos project.
He has reiterated his stance that this is a political case, that is flimsy with no facts on the side of the state.
Magashule has told the media that he is not fearful because he knows he has not done anything wrong during his tenure as Premier of the Free State.
“I’m sure it will go well because there’s nothing to fear. I’m sure the South African people will see the case today and it’s up to the Judge. But me, I’m ready for anything, whether is a trial or whatever, I’m ready because I know I have not done anything wrong,” adds Magashule.
